I already reviewed this monthly automated item. So, my husband was diagnosed with BPH. Enlarged prostate over 7 years ago. You who are afflicted know the ramifications of this ailment. He took a prescribed medication for 6 years and nothing changed, except his attitude. In the same vein, he exhibited all the side effects: depression, weight gain, difficulty preforming in the bedroom, etc…I researched and discovered these side effects were attributed to the doctor prescribed drugs! I Applied Nutrition Prostate Defense and had my husband stop his other meds to try this one for a few months. In fact it worked! After a period of a few months, his other side effects disappeared! He uses only this now.
He now receives this monthly and we save by having an automated mailing. In fact i’m very pleased with this product. However to the company: Could you please make a proper size to last a complete month? This is because you take 2 per day and 25 capsules don’t last for a months worth. That would be great.

What I found was that if I took the capsules no later than 6:00 ~ 7:00 pm, I did not experience the restlessness during the sleep hours.
I also found that by taking a pumpkin seed oil capsule in the morning (I use the ‘Swanson’ brand 1,000 mg), as well as Saw Palmetto berry capsules, at least 3 times spaced out during the day (in this case ‘Nature’s Herbs’ 1800 mg), that I could almost eliminate the urge for frequent urination.
I’m still looking for a better solution and will try Actipotens next. If it is any better or worse, I’ll let you know. Generally i will say that besides the restless sleep issue, this product seemed to provide some relief. For any of you guys dealing w/this, you know that’s a win.
